Get in the Christmas spirit and join with us as we decorate for Christmas at The Cove.
As you know, Christmas at The Cove is a month long celebration and it has become a great tool for us to reach people for Christ. It all starts tomorrow,Tuesday, November 23, 8:30 AM at the Mooresville Campus. Many have participated in the past and have made it an annual tradition. We want to invite you to Christmas Set Up 2010. It will be an awesome day of serving and fellowship. Our Creative Team has come up with a great plan so now we just have to put it into action, but we cannot do it without your help. For me personally events like this have been a great opportunity to meet new faces and develop relationships. We will start off Tuesday morning with a short devotion at 8:30am and then break out in to groups to bring it all to life. It will be an exciting time and I hope you all will join us.
God Bless You All,
Eric Thompson

These are teens making a difference for generations. If they can do this what can we as adults do?

Thank you for joining with us as we’ve journeyed through “The Hole in Our Gospel”. God is calling each of us to greater things; to step it up and make a difference in our world and community. 2011 Upcoming Mission Trips
Honduras Shoebox Trip: Join us as we serve in Honduras. February 26 - March 5, 2011. Our commitment is to deliver approximately 5000 shoeboxes to 15+ villages but our divine assignment is to share the gospel with children and youth. The trip cost is $1500, must be 14 years or older and the deadline to register and have all funding in is January 9, 2011 To register or for additional information, please e-mail trip leader, Brenda Kraetz at BHKraetz@armstrong.com
Honduras Stove Installation Mission Trip: May 14 - May 21, 2011. The Cove is taking a team to Honduras to install stoves and share the love of God. Many typical stoves are not vented to the outside, meaning that smoke and particulates build up inside the home. This team will install stoves vented on the outside, whose benefits include much higher air quality and much lower wood use. The trip cost is $1500 and the deadline to register and have all funding in is April 3, 2011. To register or for additional information, please e-mail trip leader, Barry Brewington, at barryton@windstream.net
Thank you for going beyond the walls of the church and while there are many needs near and far “Don’t fail to do something just because you cannot do everything!”
